Tansi! mispon is celebrating National Aboriginal Day by hosting an Artist Talk at the Saskatchewan Filmpool on Thursday, June 21 at 7pm. Our guest artist will be Saskatoon based Metis screenwriter, Mike Gosselin. Gosselin got his break in the Aboriginal Storytellers Program with the National Screen Institute. To date he has over 20 television writing credits and has written scripts for Rabbit Fall, Cashing In, Wapos Bay and By The Rapids. He’s also been Story Editor on Cashing In and By The Rapids. Gosselin also has his half hour drama, Wynter, currently in development with APTN. In addition, he’s working as Senior Writer on APTN’s paranormal series The Other Side and is also Senior Writer on Tina Keeper’s youth athlete doc series Kahneetah Mow-wi-nay-i-kay-chik. Gosselin will screen his favourite episode of Rabbit Fall and discuss his writing process. He is also in the process of relocating to B.C., so come see this talented screenwriter while you still can.
